About Us
Centre for Energy, Physics, and Analytics (CEPA)
The Centre for Energy, Physics, and Analytics (CEPA) is an independent research initiative dedicated to advancing open scientific inquiry across theoretical physics, cosmology, quantitative analytics, and modern energy systems. CEPA was founded with a simple principle: scientific progress thrives when disciplines converge and when ideas can be pursued without institutional barriers.
CEPA supports rigorous research, conceptual development, data-driven modelling, and cross-disciplinary exploration. Whether the subject is the dynamics of the early universe, the behaviour of interstellar objects, the modelling of renewable energy systems, or the mathematics of complex data patterns, CEPA provides a space where ideas can evolve freely and be shared openly.
Our Mission
CEPA exists to:
Promote independent, high-quality scientific research
Enable collaboration across physics, energy studies, and analytics
Encourage conceptual innovation beyond traditional academic structures
Provide open-access dissemination through the CEPA-xiv Research Archive
Engage the public through CEPA-Despatch, outreach, and scientific communication
We are committed to intellectual openness, analytical rigour, and the belief that science advances through both established frameworks and unconventional inquiry.
Our Research Domains
CEPA’s work spans multiple interconnected fields:
• Physics
Cosmology, general relativity, quantum theory, gravitation, high-energy physics, astrophysics, and spacetime modelling.
• Energy Studies
Renewable energy systems, power grids, energy storage, modelling and simulation of energy flows, and long-term transitions.
• Analytics & Modelling
Mathematical modelling, data analytics, machine learning for scientific problems, computational physics, and statistical inference.
• Conceptual and Foundational Research
Early-stage scientific ideas, cross-disciplinary reasoning, theoretical perspectives, and exploratory frameworks.
• Technical Briefs & Applied Science
Short reports, engineering insights, and targeted scientific notes.
CEPA-xiv Research Archive
CEPA-xiv is CEPA’s open-access research repository, hosting:
Working papers
Conceptual and foundational manuscripts
Technical notes
Scientific commentaries
Data reports
Independent research outputs
Every entry is curated, assigned a CEPA-xiv identifier, and made accessible for global use.
CEPA-Despatch
CEPA-Despatch is our commentary and outreach platform, featuring:
Essays and reflections
Research notes
Analytical commentaries
Announcements and updates
It bridges scientific ideas with broader audiences, encouraging thoughtful engagement with new developments across CEPA’s domains.
Our Approach
CEPA embraces a research philosophy grounded in:
Curiosity over conformity
Depth over speed
Interdisciplinarity over siloed work
Open access over closed circulation
Independent thinking over academic gatekeeping
We believe the future of science will be built by those willing to explore the frontiers—conceptual, analytical, and technological—without fear of crossing traditional boundaries.
Founding and Leadership
CEPA was founded by Jami Hossain, an independent researcher and author whose work spans theoretical physics, cosmology, energy systems, and quantitative modelling. His research includes the development of the Effective Age of the Universe (EAoU) framework and contributions across physics and energy analytics.
